Award-winning robot vacuum now $1,700 cheaper after taking out a major Australian customer award

Between crumbs under the dining table, pet hair on the rug and the mysterious sticky patch that appears in the kitchen, keeping floors presentable can take more effort than anyone would like.

Which is why robot vacuums have become such appealing household investments. And one brand has just received a major vote of confidence from Australian consumers.

Roborock has taken the top spot in Canstar’s 2026 Most Satisfied Customers Award for robot vacuums, receiving five stars in every category assessed.

The recognition follows a survey of 354 Australians who rated robot vacuums they had owned or used over the past three years.

The research examined everything from overall satisfaction and performance to features and functionality, battery and charging performance, design, ease of use and value for money.

Roborock was not only named the number one brand, but was also the only brand to achieve five stars across every category.

And there’s another reason the brand might be catching shoppers’ attention right now.

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow Robot Vacuum & Roller Mop has been listed at $799, down from $2,499. That’s a saving of $1,700, or 68 per cent off the original price.

The appeal goes beyond having a machine whizz around the living room while you’re out.

Be the first to know:

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow combines vacuuming and mopping, with 20,000 Pa suction power designed to pick up dust, crumbs and pet hair from carpets and hard floors.

Its SpiraFlow self-cleaning roller mop uses eight hydration points to distribute clean water, while a built-in scraper refreshes the mop as it works. The idea is to keep the roller cleaner during the cleaning cycle and help prevent streaks across hard floors.

An edge-adaptive roller is also designed to reach corners, chair legs and edges, targeting the spots that can be frustrating to clean by hand.

For households with pets, or anyone whose hair seems to find its way onto every surface, the Dual Zero-Tangle System is another feature worth noting.

Roborock says the design combines dual short rollers with an upgraded long-bristle side brush to reduce hair wrap, with a zero per cent hair entanglement rate certified by SGS.

The robot also uses intelligent sensors to identify different messes and adjust its cleaning strategy. It can increase suction for dust and debris, or switch to mop-only mode for liquid spills, including coffee, cola and ketchup, lifting its brushes to help prevent spreading the mess.

Carpets have their own settings, too. The vacuum can automatically increase suction, lift the mop by up to 15mm and deploy its Roller Shield to help separate wet and dry cleaning zones.

Then there’s the navigation with reactive AI obstacle recognition that identifies more than 200 object types, while PreciSense LiDAR mapping creates real-time 3D layouts and supports up to four floor plans.

That could be useful for multi-storey homes when moving between different levels.

Of course, a five-star customer satisfaction rating is not a guarantee that every household will have the same experience. Floor layouts, cleaning habits and expectations all play a part when choosing an appliance.

Still, between the Canstar recognition and the substantial advertised discount, Roborock’s latest offer makes a compelling case for anyone who has been considering handing over at least some of their floor-cleaning duties.

Just remember that the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, which is worth checking against your home network before purchasing.

At $799, it’s an investment, but one that could make the weekly cleaning schedule feel a little less demanding.
